When you come home from boarding school, you probably expect a hug from your parents, maybe a party with your old friends, definitely to sleep in your own bed again.
But coming home from an alien boarding school (a.k.a. Cadet Training, a.k.a. galactic hostage situation)…
Well, your parents aren’t allowed contact until you’ve “re-entered,” your friends are too busy trying to figure out if you’re still human to throw a party, and your bed was burned for heat when LA experienced its first post-event winter.
My homecoming sucks, is what I’m saying.
My friends and I had no choice but to go with the aliens, and it would have been stupid to reject the education they were giving us. But I’m still loyal to humanity. I’m still me.
Even if the tattoo on my face and the alien gripping my shoulder say otherwise.

Political propaganda would have us believe vampires are our friends. Fanged teddy bears misunderstood thanks to archaic lore. Activists picket for them to be welcomed into our society.
They claim vamps don’t kill.
One year ago a hive slaughtered my family and left me for dead. Found by a team of scientists with their own agenda, I was forged into an unstoppable weapon.
I possess their strength, with none of their weaknesses.
Armed with this arsenal, vengeance will feed my desire to penetrate the seedy underbelly of their fetishized lifestyle and expose them for the monsters they truly are.
“The writing is brilliant along with the plot. It was a different twist from all the other vampire novels I’ve read and it was fantastic.” USA

What if being a hero was encoded in your genes?
And nobody told you?
Casmir Dabrowski would laugh if someone asked him that. After all, he had to build a robot to protect himself from bullies when he was in school.
Fortunately, life is a little better these days. He’s an accomplished robotics engineer, a respected professor, and he almost never gets picked on in the lunchroom. But he’s positive heroics are for other people.
Until robot assassins stride onto campus and try to kill him.
Forced to flee the work he loves and the only home he’s ever known, Casmir catches the first ship into space, where he hopes to buy time to figure out who wants him dead and why. If he can’t, he’ll never be able to return home.
But he soon finds himself entangled with bounty hunters, mercenaries, and pirates, including the most feared criminal in the Star Kingdom: Captain Tenebris Rache.

Dusty’s Diary Box Set
by Bobby L Adair
It didn’t happen overnight, not like in the movies.
I mean, it took more than a year before anybody looked up from their smartphones long enough to wonder why so many of their neighbors were infected. Why so many were dying.
The vaccination riots came and went. The grocery store shelves emptied out. The spigots eventually ran dry. That was around the time I moved underground and sealed the hatch on my backyard bunker.
That was a couple of years ago.
Now, my radio hasn’t picked up a signal from the world up top since I can’t remember when. My exterior camera died in a storm last spring. And the loneliness has set in, gnawing at me, making me think crazy thoughts, including the one that’ll change everything.
I have to leave the bunker and see if anyone is left alive.
