The Awakening by Adair Hart

The Awakening follows Evaran, a space-and-time-traveler, and his rescue attempt of Dr. Snowden, and his niece, Emily, and two others from an alien abduction.

The aliens on the ship are dead, and the ship is damaged. The other abductions were apex predators from across space and time, and they are loose on the ship.

A space mercenary group known as the Bloodbores has also boarded the ship in search of salvage. Evaran must navigate these perils to get the humans off safely.

The timeline is wrong. Evaran and his human companions, Dr. Albert Snowden and his niece, Emily, travel to a galactic cultural exhibition event being held on Kreagus, the homeworld of the galactic superpower in Earth’s region. They discover that an event involving Fredorians should be taking place but isn’t. To fix it, they need to find a lost artifact while evading bounty hunters sent by Seeros, a powerful industrialist, and mercenaries, sent by an unknown faction.
