Sentinels have been watching Earth for a century. Their mission: block human advancements that enable travel to the stars with forbidden weapons. To accomplish this, the Sentinels suppress Earth’s technological development and infiltrate social networks to provoke murderous hatred toward neurodivergent humans with an emerging ability to reach across space with their minds.

In 2055, physicist Scott Anderson joins a research project to find and capture primordial black holes, which are the size of protons but could power human interstellar travel and planet-killing weaponry—the same physics exploitations the Sentinels are tasked with prohibiting.

While Scott fights against the technological limits placed on Earth, Robby, Scott’s nine-year-old autistic brother, fights his own battle as one of the targeted neurodivergents.
