When the zompoc hits New Orleans, Joe has only one goal in mind: to reach his wife, Clare, who’s hopefully safe at her mother’s house, 80 miles away in Baton Rouge. To get there, he must battle through undead hordes and, worse, idiotic humans in the French Quarter, snag his tricked-out zombie-proof van, and haul ass down the zombie-infested highways and byways of southern Louisiana. With any luck, he’ll survive the mayhem, make it to Clare in time, and keep his disgruntled kitty, Azazel, alive.
