Egg Island: Death is Your Choice by Dikkon Eberhart

Fine arts painter Percy Black is looking to find himself after a divorce and after being asked to resign from pastoring during 21 years. What he finds is Elizabeth, a young woman as adrift as he is. Although she’ll be the first to deny it, she is alone and in desperate need of help, and Percy feels the call to aid her even after she stabs him in his painting arm during their shaky introduction.

His association with the young woman will bring unintended peril to both Percy and his lover Starr, a therapist. The dark events surrounding Elizabeth’s current situation are steeped in mystery and danger, and they lead Percy and Starr to form a crime solving team as they try to help Elizabeth.
