Cargo Trouble (Frankie’s Journeys Book 1) by Nicky Penttila

Frankie Styles has a ship, a route, and a plan: haul grain to the outer worlds, speak to no one, and be forgotten. She is very good at two of those. Then come a moody snake, a broke smuggler, a stowaway cat who is not a cat — and a shipping mafia that wants her gone. Cozy space opera mystery. Book 1 of 6, complete.
