They Were the Best of Gnomes They Were the Worst of Gnomes

by Robert P. Wills

Drimblerod has a problem with the Merchant Guild. They aren’t happy with the level of his sales at his used wand shop, Second Hand Sorcery. The issue is that his low sales affects their cut off the top. To make matters worse, the local Merchant Guild Dues Collector (an Ogre no less) is unhappy with Drimblerod’s income because that directly affects his cut off the top which comes before the Guild’s cut off the top, of course. When he meets fellow gnome Grimbledung, he thinks he has found the perfect partner.
Grimbledung is glad to be living indoors so he neglets to mention his Pixie Madness that makes him unstable. Moreso than a regular gnome.
Bar room brawls, cheated customers, and drinking fill Drimblerod’s plate now- along with a side order of groping and gratuitous firting.
We’d like to say ‘it all works out in the end’ but ‘Town-wide blazing Inferno’ is more accurate.

Gnomes, and Halflings, and Assassins! Oh My!

by Robert P. Wills

Aution is in ruins. Charred, smoldering ruins. The Gnomes, Rat, and Nulu make their way out to Big Julie’s School of Magic. They’re looking for a place to hide out until things cool down. News hasn’t spread about Grimbledung being responsible for the town-wide fire and the Gnomes want to keep it that way!
Everyone decides that a new town is in order, and Julesville is founded. Everything seems to be moving along nicely. Until a certain recently-unemployed werewolf constable, and a newly-put-out-of-business Haberdashery owner show up.
With Akita and Pozzuoli in town, things don’t look good for Grimbledung. Fortunately for him, the impending Halfling invasion gets everyone’s attention.
Thanks Grimbledung, the Halflings are tricked into leaving Julesville, the Halfling invasion is stopped, and peace is restored to the lands!
Okay not those last two. Grimbledung has his limits.
