The Dance on the Moons of Serenity by M.D. Cooper

If Jessica didn’t know better, she’d think that some angry deity had it in for her and the crew of Sabrina.

Sabrina has been operating as a merchant trader in Orion Freedom Space for several months, inching across the galactic map toward the Inner Stars, when a shipment to a buyer gets ruined, and a hit is put out on the ship and its crew.

Jessica and Cargo consider outrunning the gangsters chasing them, but needing to avoid the eye of the Orion Guard forces them to consider other options.

The best plan they come up with is one that involves Jessica attending a series of parties and gala events on the moons of Serenity. There, she’ll have to use a particular set of skills she’s acquired over the years to start a war between two aristocratic families.
