Fed up with the constant earthquakes plaguing her world, Tamar Linsky makes a drastic change. She leaves Earth hoping to make a name for herself as a prodigy biologist on humanity’s first self-sufficient Lunar Research Facility. Working with stuck-up River proves to bring its own challenges, but eventually these enemies-to-lovers find a way into each other’s arms. Tamar wakes up one morning to discover that the base has lost contact with Earth. All that remains are a few messages from the team’s family members, suggesting that something big and destructive has happened back home. After no contact for twenty-four hours, it becomes clear, Tamar and her crew mates are now trapped on the moon.
