In a future, where the onward march of technology sees society verging on dystopia, governments no longer treat the relationship between man and pet as sacrosanct, turning on man’s best friend to combat the still undefeated scourge of cancer.

Responding to the creation of factories that breed dogs only to euthanize them and turn their remains into medicine, a group of rebels devise a plan to put an end to the slaughter, setting them up for a confrontation with government forces hot on their trail.

Caught in the middle of this pitched battle is a humble dog farmer, whose love for one of the rebels finds him drawn into a conspiracy that will pit him against everything he has held to be true.
