Red Dot

by Eugene Linn

A routine scan of the outer solar system reveals a piloted UFO, dubbed D9, which will enter Earth’s orbit in forty-four days.

As news spreads about the approaching ETs, global tensions escalate and what had been mere unrest erupts into violent altercations. Just as the conflicts start to subside, thousands of mysterious red dots appear on the ground all around the world.

While US President Al Douthart struggles to manage the looming domestic and foreign crises, NASA scientist Claire Montague leads an elite team working feverishly to discover the purpose of the red dots and what exactly the extraterrestrials want from Earth.

Can humans cope with the fact that they’re not the only intelligent life in the universe or will they allow fear and confusion to destroy them before the aliens even arrive?
