Spanning Britain, France and Spain, this sci-fi thriller follows the protagonist, Ophelia Alsop, as she gathers supporters to help her dismantle the global A.I. known as The Gaia Machine. It is a dangerous mission, but necessary, to end the surrogacy trade once and for all. In doing so, she expects to influence a more equitable trade agreement between the affluent northern hemisphere and its scorching southern counterpart. But, like any revolution, this one is fraught with danger and its consequences may be different to anything she could have imagined.
