American Tower by Chris Gibson

The colossal Tower in New York was erected after the catastrophic civil war that destroyed America. The rich live in the lavish aboveground section, but the poor are forced to live in the cramped underground basement.
Paul, a poor young man, uncovers a plot the rich are forming against the poor. He and his friends must find a way to bring equality and respect to themselves and their poor comrades before another civil war ravages New York.
