Aerovoyant: The Industrial Age, Volume One

by P.L. Tavormina

On planet Turaset, droughts ravage farmlands, cyclones rip along the coast, and with every barrel the oil industry pumps from the ground the climate worsens. Alphonse has refused a council seat because taking it means serving that rapacious industry. He leaves for the wilderness, where a power to live the past awakens within him. Alphonse walks his ancestors’ steps on long-dead Earth and grows plagued by memories of collapse. He’s left with troubling certainty: infiltrate the oil industry to secure proof of its treachery or Turaset will fall next.

Alphonse finds an ally in Myrta, a farmgirl who sees every molecule in the air. With her skill she can evade patrols on industry grounds. Together, they can prove the industry lies about emissions and convince the councils to shut down fossil fuels forever.

But the industry has grown wise to Myrta’s power—and now she’s marked for death.
