by Michael K. Rose

On Earth, a powerful politician has been murdered. When he's assigned to the case, Agent Frank Allen soon discovers that the man responsible, Rick Sullivan, is not yet finished killing. As Allen pursues Sullivan across the known galaxy, he begins to question his own beliefs and loyalties. Will Allen be able to stop Rick Sullivan before he kills again? Does he really want to? As their lives become increasingly intertwined, both men realize they must face truths about themselves that neither of them are prepared for. Date Night on Union Station

by E. M. Foner

"Good science fiction is as rarer than hen's teeth. This was a fun read"

Kelly Frank is EarthCent's top diplomat on Union Station, but her job description has always been a bit vague and the aliens look down on her as a member of a backwards species. The pay is horrible and she's in hock up to her ears for her furniture, which is likely to end up in a corridor because she's behind on rent for her room. Sometimes she has to wonder if the career she has put ahead of her personal life for fifteen years is worth it.

When Kelly receives a gift subscription to the dating service that's rumored to be powered by the same benevolent artificial intelligence that runs the huge station, she decides to swallow her pride and give it a shot. But as her dates go from bad to worse, she can only hope that the supposedly omniscient AI is planning a happy ending.

by James MacGhil

Semi-divine super soldiers, disgruntled fallen angels, giant dudes on high protein diets, beastly creatures of twisted divine genetics, a Heavenly grudge match played out on an Earthly stage – Just another day at the office in the Guild of Deacons.

In life, Captain Dean Robinson was a solider. A rather elite member of the US military. West Point grad, Army Ranger, professional tough guy with an unrelenting sarcastic charm – a genuine stand up dude. However, upon his untimely, and inexplicably predestined, death at the hand of a fallen angel with a serious superiority complex and snappy wardrobe, he became something else – a Deacon. But not the kind of deacon you’re thinking of. Unless, of course, you’re thinking about a semi-divine super soldier cloaked in darkness and wielding a hell-fire smothered sword and otherworldly shotgun. If that’s the case – you’re right on.

Cities Fall. Dragons Rise. War Begins.

The war for earth began in Hell. First came the earthquakes. Then came the floods. Finally, from the darkened mines, caves and pits, the creatures of our nightmares boiled forth to sweep across the planet in a wave of death.

On the run and unprepared, mankind is not alone. We have dragons.

Emerging from their slumber, giant dragons select riders to go to war. Their forces strike back at the legions of demons that attack on the night of every new moon. The Killing Moon, as it becomes known, is the proving ground for warriors of skill and heart. Among the riders is Saavin, a brave young woman from the shattered remains of Texas. Her dragon, Banshee, is swift and fearless, but they will need help to fight a trio of monstrous creatures that Hell is using to take cities one by one.

With the help of French Heavener, a warrior of noble intent, Banshee and Saavin will launch a desperate defense of New Madrid, the last city standing. But first, they’ll have to go into the very cave where demons bide their time until the sun fades and the moon is black.
